Fullmetal Alchemist Subbed Episodes
Episode 9 of Fullmetal Alchemist aired on Thursday, and it was a pretty good episode. The show does a great job of balancing the serious tone of the plot with the comedy and action that is typical of the Fullmetal Alchemist series. While some new and returning characters were introduced, such as Alchemists Gilderoy Lockhart and Ed Young, most of the action took place between the brothers themselves. This episode was also full of revelations about Edward’s past, as well as some exciting new plotlines that will carry over into next week’s episode.
The strongest part of this episode was probably the development between Edward and Alphonse. It was finally revealed that their mother was actually a human girl who had undergone human transmutation to turn into a dragon, and that Alphonse still had his dragon form inside him. This revelation made for an emotional moment for both Alphonse and Edward, as it showed that not everything that happened to them in their previous lives was just a dream. Additionally, Gilderoy Lockhart’s appearance in this episode was very surprising and added a lot of depth to his character. Finally, this episode also featured some great fight scenes between the brothers, which made up for any lack of action from earlier in the season.
