Overall, we thought that the English Dubbed Review was good. It didn’t quite have the same emotional impact as the Japanese version, but it did provide some new insights and background information which I think is important for viewers to know. We liked that they continued to focus on Alphonse’s journey to find his body and try to bring his mother back to life. However, we were a bit disappointed with the decision to make Edward a cyborg instead of just using his body like Alphonse does. I feel like this would’ve been more interesting and powerful if he had reverted back to his human form like Alphonse does in the Japanese version.
